This city was an important center in antiquity, and its strategic location on the mountain slopes provided not only protection but also convenience for trade and cultural events. On the territory of the city, such important objects as the <\/span><strong class=\"qwen-markdown-strong\"><span class=\"qwen-markdown-text\">ancient stadium<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"qwen-markdown-text\">, <\/span><strong class=\"qwen-markdown-strong\"><span class=\"qwen-markdown-text\">amphitheater<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"qwen-markdown-text\">, <\/span><strong class=\"qwen-markdown-strong\"><span class=\"qwen-markdown-text\">agora<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"qwen-markdown-text\">, and <\/span><strong class=\"qwen-markdown-strong\"><span class=\"qwen-markdown-text\">necropolis<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"qwen-markdown-text\"> are preserved, which allows us to imagine how the daily life of residents passed in those distant times.<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"qwen-markdown-space\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"qwen-markdown-paragraph\"><strong class=\"qwen-markdown-strong\"><span class=\"qwen-markdown-text\">Odeon and Architecture<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n<div class=\"qwen-markdown-space\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"qwen-markdown-paragraph\"><span class=\"qwen-markdown-text\">One of the most impressive structures is the <\/span><strong class=\"qwen-markdown-strong\"><span class=\"qwen-markdown-text\">odeon<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"qwen-markdown-text\">, which could accommodate up to <\/span><strong class=\"qwen-markdown-strong\"><span class=\"qwen-markdown-text\">3500 people<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"qwen-markdown-text\">. This place was used for various meetings, sports events, and theatrical performances. The architecture of the <\/span><strong class=\"qwen-markdown-strong\"><span class=\"qwen-markdown-text\">odeon<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"qwen-markdown-text\"> surprises with its grandeur and ability to combine functionality with aesthetics. On its walls, you can see a unique <\/span><strong class=\"qwen-markdown-strong\"><span class=\"qwen-markdown-text\">mosaic<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"qwen-markdown-text\"> reflecting the artistic and cultural features of that time.<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"qwen-markdown-space\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"qwen-markdown-paragraph\"><strong class=\"qwen-markdown-strong\"><span class=\"qwen-markdown-text\">Medusa Gorgon Mosaic<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n<div class=\"qwen-markdown-space\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"qwen-markdown-paragraph\"><span class=\"qwen-markdown-text\">Special attention should be paid to the image of <\/span><strong class=\"qwen-markdown-strong\"><span class=\"qwen-markdown-text\">Medusa Gorgon<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"qwen-markdown-text\">, which decorated the <\/span><strong class=\"qwen-markdown-strong\"><span class=\"qwen-markdown-text\">odeon<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"qwen-markdown-text\">. This mythical figure, with a female face, snakes instead of hair, and large sharp teeth, became a symbol of magical power and protection.
